Etsy addict

I really am an Etsy addict. Well really I am an internet addict. I sort of plan my day around it. I am rarely not on the internet. I am either checking my email throughout the day on the iPod touch or sitting in front of the computer (or making jewelry). That is why my house looks the way it does. It is sad, really. I mean really, really sad and pathetic. I know it is, but I just love the internet and I love Etsy. You know, I read that they have recovery houses for this kind of thing...hmmm. Anyway, this post is not to talk about how pathetic I am so much as to list my favorite Etsy things.

Ames, from Sparkle Rocks, is the most amazing sweet girl. I love her to death! Her jewelry is also really great! Here are the things I have bought from her recently:

J'adore! I have the peace sign necklace already,  now I am just waiting for the other three. I am so excited about the rings. And the more I look at that necklace the more I love it. Please check out her shop, but don't buy the things I want. Unless you are buying them for me! *cough*pandanecklacelittleponynecklacehellokittynecklacepinkteapotringmushroomearrings*cough* =]

Another great Etsy seller is Terra, from Peaced Together. She is such a sweetheart and her skirts are so cute! I bought one a while back (I sold my wedding dress so I have money, can you tell?). I love this skirt! Look:

I just love it! Please check her shop out as well. Oh and while your at it, you might as well take a look at mine. I just added some great new jewelry. And I have a bunch more to add so keep an eye out!!

P.S. I will try to get some pictures of Jack up soon!

Finally....

My Etsy shop is up. I am slowly adding things and building my shop. It is still a work in progress so don't be too critical. I was just adding things and the site shut down for a scheduled maintenance so I took that as a cue to get offline for the night. But I will add some more in the morning. Here are a few things I have listed.

Those are some of my favorite anyway. Well I better get some sleep, because I am sure Jack will be up soon! 'Night!

A boy, a skirt and some jewelry

First off, here are some pictures of Jack with a little stuffed owl Disney made him, that he loves!

He always smiles when I give it to him. And as you can see in the last picture, he is sick of laying down! He always tries to get up when I put him in his swing and then he almost falls out. He loves to stand up and walk around!

This next picture is 100 fabric squares that will soon morph into a skirt.

I've always wanted to make this skirt, but I wasn't quite feeling up to that challenge yet. So this is my 'mini' version of it. Not that it is short or anything. It will be almost floor length, but it isn't as extensive. I am so excited about it. I have actually been getting quite a few sewing projects done. My house is still a mess, but we have the Melody Lane auction coming up this Saturday and I am supposed to be making things to put in it. All the money we raise will be credited to Jaycilyn's account and we can use that to go on the Seattle tour, which I may or may not be going on. Whatever Mark decides. =] So far I have made 4 placemats, 4 coasters, a coffee sleeve, 2 skirts and 2 matching headbands (which I will post pictures of soon. They are so great!). BUT I still have to make 4 napkins, 2 bracelets that match the skirts and headbands, a coffee sleeve, pumpkin loaf, cookies, cupcakes and possibly some jewelry and also buy some reusable coffee cups! PHEW! And it's already Thursday, so I have to work fast!

These next two pictures are of a necklace I found on Etsy. They are from Nicolas Landon's shop.

Isn't it great! It is called Le Brittany. I would love to have it, however it seems my bank account does not want to give me $48 + shipping. =]

Well there you have it. And like I said I will post again soon, showing all of my auction goodies! I am so excited!
