Ahoy!

I have almost finished Jack's room so I thought I would post pictures of what I have thus far! I am doing a sailboat/nautical theme (but mostly sailboats!).

Above is Jack's new name that I re-did with some super cute sailboat paper that I had been looking for everywhere. Then I found it on clearance at Craft Warehouse! Above his name is his soon to be clock. I just have to add the "face" of the clock and the hands.

This is the fabric for Jack's crib sheet. You can see it in his crib in the picture below. It is the same fabric I want to recover Jack's lampshade with and possibly make curtains.

This is Jack's new collage poster. It took me forever to find some GOOD nautical/sailboat paper, but I found it all at Craft Warehouse!

And this is his light switch cover! His outlets have the same paper. Isn't it cute!

And here is Jack's changing table area. I re-painted his bins and put "nautical" terms on them. Swab the deck is for his lotions, wipes, q-tips etc. The head is the restroom on a boat so that is for his diapers. Anchors and buoys are for his toys. And navigation charts is where his books go! I think they are SOOO cute!

Now all I need to do is get a new hamper, preferably a navy blue one. Replace his fern with the cute shell plant seen here! Re-cover his lamp shade. Possibly sew some curtains and a changing pad cover!

Long overdue

I have been real lazy on the blog lately. It's not that I haven't been on the computer, just too lazy to blog. So I'm going to post a bunch of pictures about things I've been up to lately (which really is not much!).

These first few are of Jack! Here he is styling with some sunglasses that are just his size! They were actually for my turtle from Build-a-Bear, but they fit him too! And isn't he cute!

And Jack is officially crawling now! He has been "scooting" for a while but now it's a crawl!

And here are just some random cute ones.

I went yard saling with my mom the other day and I got and AMAAAAAZING teapot and Samonsite "overnite" or train case. Each for $1!!!

And recently I've been missing my gnomes so I brought them inside. I love having them where I can see them!

This next picture is a BEAUTIFUL gnome picture that my good friend Hollie, from Blueberryshoes custom drew for me! I LOVE it so much! I have the perfect frame for it and can't wait for it to get here!



And this next one is also from Blueberryshoes and thanks to my wonderful, super sweet friend, Ames, at Sparklerocks. It is a super cute barbie vanity that turned jewelry display! Isn't it cute!!




See my Paypal account suddenly filled up a little bit so I had to go on a shopping spree! This is such a cool journal made from a recycled Starbucks apron that I got from my friend Jenn otherwise known as Jupita.



And this super cool gnome ring! I can't wait to get this!



Last but not least..here are some of the fabulous things I have coming from Ames. And emphasis on the SOME because she is sending me a TRUCKLOAD of stuff! But these are what I have pictures of right now!






Anyway...I will try to post more often, especially as Jack learns new things! But that's it for now!

I'm late, I'm late for a very important date..

Well not really, but I am a little late getting these Easter pictures posted. Jack looked AMAZING, of course, in his new suit grandma bought him. =] He wasn't too interested in the eggs though.

Those are so cute! Hopefully sometime soon, I can actually sit down and write a longer post. But I am going to be a little busy today. I have a WIC appointment in 2 hours then I am headed up to mom's to work on jewelry and get all the packages I need to mail all ready. We are headed out of town tomorrow. We are going on a mini-sailing trip. I will get lots of pictures of that!
